Alliston and Simcoe is our Home and Community.

Our Community Involvement

A lot of who we are is giving back to the communities we call home.

If you have a sponsorship opportunity or would like us to participate in your community event in Alliston or Simcoe and the surrounding areas, send us an email to info@donerhorsley.ca.

Alliston Food Bank 2024

We started off the new year with our team dropping off a donation to our local food bank so we can help feed and give back to our community. Learn about the new Alliston Food Bank (formally The Good Shepherd Food Bank).

Alliston Potato Festival 2023

This years Alliston Potato Festival turned out to be more of a success than we could have imagined! The community came together to help support our charity fundraiser, My Sister’s Place Alliston, a safe place for women and their children. We will definitely be bringing back our Krispy Kreme Donut booth for next years festival!

Congrats to Susan on joining the Insurance Institute of Canada’s Committee

Doner-Horsely’s very own, Susan, has been invited and joined the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC) committee to revamp the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) Level 1 Exam. This is a tremendous, and well deserved opportunity and we couldn’t be more proud!

Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions Holiday Sponsorship Program

Over the holidays, Doner-Horsley was proud to sponsor families as part of the Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions Holiday Sponsorship Program. This program helps families in financial constraints and assists them in affording winter holiday celebrations.

If you are interested in also donating through the program, or learning more, please visit: Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions

Good Shepherd Food Bank Donation

The staff of Doner-Horsley came together to donate over 40 pounds of food and $500 for the Christmas Food drive. If you wish to donate, please visit the Alliston Food Bank.

It Takes a Village

It Takes a Village is a people oriented, money free, environmentally conscious shop for everyone. The organization leads communities in the application of social justice, and together, Doner-Horsley raised money for the local food bank and a donation of over $2,900.
